National Gun Violence Awareness Month ended yesterday.

Looking back, June was a month of innovation and impact. We used AI to tell stories in new ways—imagining futures lost to school gun violence and contrasting them with AI-generated students who feel safe only because they aren’t “real.” The tools are evolving, but our mission remains the same: to amplify youth voices and ensure young people feel empowered to speak out.

This month, we also expanded our creative team—bringing on passionate young people who are helping shape the stories we tell from their own perspective. We also welcomed producer Ivan Nelson, an AI-powered storyteller and Media & Production Operations Leader. He was the driving force behind these innovative AI videos.

Today marks the start of the second half of 2025. Our commitment continues—through creative outreach, deeper engagement, and keeping students at the heart of everything we do.

Awareness doesn’t end with the month. Our momentum continues.
